Household sensor of sugar content in food

Enzyme-free glucose sensor based on organic-inorganic semiconductor complexes. Manufacturers do not always indicate the sugar content in foods, which makes it difficult to control sugar intake.

A possible solution is a portable sensor for measuring the level of glucose in food. The main source of income is the production of sensitive sensor elements

  1. Do you think glucose detection will be sufficient to inform consumers about sugar content in food? Do you also need to measure fructose and/or other sugars?
